Analysis of “Balanced Skills and Entrepreneurship”
This article describes and attempts to prove that entrepreneurs tend to have a more generalized and diverse skill set as compared to specialists (non-entrepreneurs) because entrepreneurs are only as good as their weakest link but specialists are only as good as their specialty. WikiMatrix is a great database for comparing Wiki software.
It would be cool to have a database of other kinds of sofware, so as to compare things.
For example, I’m currently trying to find an open source CRM solution with email merge capabilities that will integrate with a Drupal stie. I currently am looking at SugarCRM, XRMS, and CiviCRM. I’m leaning towards CiviCRM right now. It would be nice to be able to look feature-by-feature at all three of them, as WikiMatrix lets me do with wiki software.
I’m looking for a solution to a challenge I’m currently facing.
I am in charge of a Drupal site with soon to be 200 registered users.
Our team wants to be able to email these users, where each user gets a personalized email with their first and last name - based on the users’ profile fields we created - in the body of the message.
Currently it looks like I must use something like CiviCRM, SugarCRM, or a paid service like Campaign Monitor.
What is a good solution to easily email personalized emails to our Drupal users, so that their first and last name is in the body of the email they receive?
