No, not like that. Pervert.
No, like as in I’m looking for a job. Check out My Resume and My Card. I currently live in San Jose or Cupertino (in the process of moving) and attend college at De Anza in Cupertino. I’m available for work from now until December 20th, and again from January 1st onward. I’m willing to relocate to any state or provence which borders the Pacific Ocean, or elsewhere if the job is particularly interesting. I’m interested in both temporary and long term opportunities.
Well, if you were a hot, attractive, young lady… Never mind.
Download The Animatrix (700MB)
Now, provided you have a compatible Gnutella client installed, that link should cause that client to download a copy of The Animatrix, even though I’m not directly hosting that file myself. Actually, all that’s in that link is the hash of the file and a name to save as; the network itself finds peers on the Gnutella network that have that file. It’s like BitTorrent, without the darn trackers!
Is this a crime? Is it morally wrong? A 256-bit number and a file name? You decide.
With software projects like Audion and WinAMP retiring, we are seeing the end of development in music playback software. Not to say it’s dead, but the rate of novel ideas in the field is lowering.
What’s next? Video! I want video on my iPod, dammit! I want to fit a higher quality encoding of a movie into the same standard 700 MB size. I want to see solutions like BitTorrent and Gnutella continue to push the limit of bandwidth efficiency. I want to be able to stream video to any number of others.
DivX and friends have already taken grounds in this new world, but from what I’ve seen of AVC (H.264), we’re only getting started.
