And There Go Trackbacks

Looks like spammers figured out how to use Trackbacks. Until I can learn how to turn them off, all Trackbacks and Pingbacks must be verified by me before they will appear on the site.

While Pingbacks could also be used to spam, they are subject to a page scrape of the URL they provide, ensuring that a link to the article is there. Thus, they would have to put up, at least temporarilly, a link to their victims. I can see pleanty of ways to get around this with Javascript et all, though it is merely the next step in cat and mouse.
