Static Shock

Now on my vacation in US Arizona, I’ve got a problem with static electricity.

My hypothesis is that it is the low humidity, air conditioning, carpet, and couches that are causing the static.

I’m now keeping one hand on my grounded laptop, though I have a slight worry it might be damaged by that.

I flinch everytime I touch metal now, even if I’m not shocked. Darn habitual reflexes.
