Tonight I went to my first college party. Though it wasn’t as crazy as I thought it was, it was fun nonetheless. With only around 6 or so people, we just watched Family Guy on DVD. It seems these young adults have a facination with alcohol and prefer to discuss it exceptionally.
The weird thing is that I personally don’t drink as a matter of a personal lifestyle choice. Thus, I feel I am looked upon as some strange person who thinks they’re “too good” for alchohol. It’s not that I think poorly of those who drink, I simply don’t find any enjoyment in doing so and am able to relax and have a good time without it. Again, personal lifestyle choice.
I never went to high school – started charter (home) school in 7th grade – and college is my first re-entry into the school experience. It’s going nicely, though, which I am very glad to note.
