Last night I watched The Butterfly Effect on DVD. Quite a different role for Ashton Kutcher, I might add.
The movie takes the best of Chaos Theory and Time Travel, and brings them together in the semi-familiar, “You can’t change the past; if you do you will make it worse.”
The extra session on Chaos Theory was interesting, and brought forth the message to not try to control the world around you, merely live in the ‘now’. Unfortunately, I’m not too accepting, and some would call me a futurist.
Moral of the story, if you somehow realize you can go back in time to change things, don’t. You’ll get nosebleeds every time.
