AOL Instant Messenger’s Website Woes

It seems that the AOL Instant Messenger’s website is falling apart.

First, I am having a heck of a time trying to configure my AIM Mobile Forwarding settings. It used to be that once logged in there was a way to set up whether anyone could IM you and it would forward to your cell phone via SMS, just people on your buddy list, just people in the Mobile Devices group on your buddy list, or no one at all.

Now this just isn’t even showing up on the pages anymore.

Furthermore, I’m trying to change my AIM password, and I get the following error:

Safari can’t open the page.

Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://aim.aol.com/redirects/password/change_password.adp?ScreenName=pixelcort&ccode=US&lang=en”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

Maybe Firefox will work?:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This site is truly showing its age.
