When I was at the Xbox 360 Zero Hour, I had the opportunity to purchase a couple of Premium Edition systems at the $400 price tag. I said to my friend, “Nah, I haven’t found a game I really like yet, and I can always get it later on, right?” Suffice to say, near the end of the event, when I got a chance to play Perfect Dark Zero, I did find a game I really liked, however I still didn’t try to get the system.
Next day: eBay. They’re selling for thousands of dollars. I could have bought two, sold one, and profited.
I called GameStop the other day; they said I’ll get one around 2006 March. Just in time for my birthday, it seems. And it probably won’t come with the Premium Chrome Finish that seems to be only available on the Premium Edition from now until Christmas, either.
