Teststreaming / Textcasting (Verb): To stream plain or XML text at a variable bit rate, defaulting to 0 b/s when no text is being sent. This can either be done via an agent trying to provide live information, or via a user manually entering in text into the broadcast.
Textstreaming can be an alteranative to PublishSubscribe, and can be run through Peercasting for further bandwidth scalability.
